Built by William Lawrence - who owned the original dye-works later know as Lees dying and chemical works - along with numbers 44, 46, 48 and 52 Westgarth Street, in c1887, 50 Westgarth Street is a Federation Victorian Survival house with timber block-mounted facade, slate roofing, curved corrugated iron roofed verandah, double-hung sash windows and cement rendered chimneys with moulded caps. The house and business has since been demolished.
