Become a library member

Darebin Libraries membership is free.

After you complete the registration form, you will see a temporary membership number on the screen. Please take note of this number.
Bring current ID showing your name and address on your first visit to the library to begin using our full range of services.

If you are under 18, your parent or guardian will need to come with you and present their ID.

Conditions of Membership
As a Darebin Libraries member, you agree to:

• Follow library membership guidelines
• Comply with our conditions of entry at all times
• Follow computer and internet guidelines

By providing your email or mobile number, you agree to receive email or SMS notifications. Email is the default contact method. If you prefer SMS, please call 1300 655 355, or speak to a staff member.

Privacy Collection Statement
Darebin City Council manages personal information under the Victorian Privacy and Data Protection Act 2014.

Darebin Libraries requires your personal details to set up and manage your library membership. If you choose not to provide your name and address we will not be able to provide you with a library membership and you will have limited access to the services provided by Darebin Libraries.
