Built by Thomas Stokes - of the die-sinking and electroplating firm of Stokes & Martin – between 1883 and 1886, Edgebaston is a two storey rendered brick house with bayed double hung windows, hipped roof and roughcast chimneys with a single shadow line. The Mediterranean style arched loggia was added in the 1920’s. The house has since been divided into apartments.
