An autumn storm shipwrecks a small fishing boat leaving a strange mouse named P'tit stranded in Crumbfest Cove. At first Eckhart is jealous of all the attention P'tit is getting, especially when P'tit keeps helping Eckhart and his friends out of close calls. Eckhart's the one who is supposed to be the hero! When the group faces a particularly perilous situation, Eckhart and P'tit work together to save the day. Eckhart realizes what a friend he has in P'tit and helps him find his way back home.
