The peace in the quiet western town of Bright Hope is shattered forever when a band of cannibalistic troglodytes kidnap several settlers, including the wife of local rancher Arthur O’Dwyer (Patrick Wilson, Watchmen). To save the people of his town from a horrific fate, Sheriff Franklin Hunt (Kurt Russell, The Hateful 8) must lead a small posse including his aging deputy (Richard Jenkins, Step Brothers) and a strong willed gunslinger (Matthew Fox, Lost) into hell on earth as they come to realise they are tracking down a foe whose savagery knows no bounds.
