Niki (Evi Saoulidou) has been reared by her father in the somewhat dubious world of professional gambling where she relies a little too heavily on the support of her lucky charm - a stuffed parrot. Her life goes down the tubes when said lucky charm is stolen and her father, consequently, gets sent jail. Fast forward a few years and Niki works for a lifestyle magazine. As fate (or fortune) would have it, her editor asks her to interview a poker champion who just happens to be her parrot thief and adversary. Niki agrees to do the interview but she has different plans.
