Sila is adpoted by a wealthy family in Istanbul. As a young adult, her biological father and brother visit her, claiming that her birth mother in Mardin is seriously ill and needs to see her before she dies. Once Sila arrives in Mardin, the two men threaten her life unless she marries Boran, a leader of a local tribe. Boran believes Sila entered into the marriage willingly. After the marriage takes place Sila tries to change the injustices caused by the tribal customs.
