Buffet, a mischievous penguin, recruits his friends Euri (a lazy but friendly yak) and Luke (an energetic rabbit, who fancies himself a great kung-fu fighter like his hero Bruce Lee) to join him on an adventure to the South Pole in order to help solve the mysterious disappearance of Buffet's grandfather. Upon arriving their plane is attacked by an inexplicable force. They soon discover that the penguin village has been replaced with a base run by humans - thought only to exist in legend. The evil Dr. Glick has been enslaving the penguins in search of the rich Natural Gas (Methane) Hydrate energy. When Buffet and his friends find the relocated penguin village, they are not welcomed and are immediately expelled upon learning the shocking news that Buffet's grandfather is deemed a traitor, as the penguin tribe suspects that he is working for Dr. Glick. Determined to find the truth, Buffet and his friends, which now includes Landy the albatross, decide to enter the base to rescue his grandfather and prove his innocence.
