Everyday, tons of chemicals are released into the environment, without anyone ever knowing how toxic they are and their long term effect on living organisms. Some of them find their way into our bodies and into the foetuses of mothers. In a hard-hitting investigation, carried out with intelligence and humour, the director has her own blood tested and explores the links between those toxic substances and some rising health problems in our society such as cancer, allergies, hyperactivity, male infertility. Her conclusions are somewhat disturbing.
