Nineteen-year-old Rose lives a tough, small-town life in Florida with her single mother, Alma. But their luck seems to take a turn for the better when her mother's new boyfriend whisks them away on a sailing adventure to Bermuda. While at sea, however, Derek's shady past and true motives are revealed when their boat is attacked and Alma is viciously killed. Distraught and persecuted by Derek and his co-conspirator - the mysterious Captain - Rose unearths a primal instinct of survival... and a terrifying need for vengeance.
