Tunisian Women on Fight
2015
Computer Files, Websites
They are artists, activists, students or bloggers. More than a year ago, these women were the leading figures of the Tunisian revolution. However, the victory of the islamist party Ennahdha in the Constituent Assembly elections has changed the situation: these women who braved bullets from Ben Ali's regime, now see their tights and liberties jeopardized by the new regime. Since this investigation, the islamist Ennahdha left the government and Tunisia has approved a new Constitution, completing a two years drafting process and opening the way to a new democratic era. One of its main objective is to set gender parity in elected institutions. This would represent a sort of victory to women "the heart of the revolution".
