Centenary of the Wesleyan Church

October 1970
Archives
Photograph of the plaque commemorating the centenary of the building of the new Wesleyan Church at 251 High St (opposite its previous location) with Cr. Len Hales, Mrs. E. Anthony and Mr. Walter T. Matthews posing beside it. The Methodist Wesleyan congregation would merge into the Uniting Church in 1977, which currently occupies the building (apart from a period between 1980-1991, where the church was occupied by St Mark's Coptic Orthodox congregation).
