A digital image of 342 High Street Northcote, former London Chartered bank of Australasia. This is a High Italian Renaissance Revival Style building built c1890. Built as the London Chartered Bank of Australia it later became the ANZ bank before reverting to retail purposes. In 1982 it sold Cook-o-matic kitchen wares. The building features double hung sash windows, an arched first floor verandah and a large central entrance flanked by Corinthian columns.
