Digital image of 64 St. David Street Northcote, St. George Greek Orthodox Church and hall. The Prince of Wales Park Methodist Church was established in 1903 with a timber church brought from another site in the district. The brick church was built in 1923 (designed by architect Alex Eggleston) to meet the growing needs of the congregation and the earlier church was used as a hall. The brick building is an inter-war Gothic Revival church with high arched windows with quoin masonry mouldings, the entrances have four circular parapets on each corner. The church has since been considerably altered including a new porch built at the front of the church. The hall has arched windows, timber gable lining boards and finial and a pitched corrugated iron roof.
