Digital image of 24 Walker Street Northcote, former Northcote Police Station. Constructed in 1861 and designed by Public Works Department Chief Architect William Wardell, the building has attributes of an early public building with gabled slate roof and stucco brick chimneys with corbelled caps. The porch, with its roof supported by a single twisted classical column, was added at a later.
