Archives
Poster advertising a Stott, Son & Watson property auction in High Street. In the centre is a photograph of High Street looking North from the corner of Separation Street with an arrow indicating the property for sale. In the right foreground is Mac's Boot Store and behind that C.E. Hind's tobacconist store can be seen. On the other side of the road and further north is the Scottish Bank. On the reverse of the poster is an auction notice on a property (most likely the same one) between Separation Street and Robbs Parade. The central photograph (reused in other advertisements) shows High Street looking north from the Northcote Theatre on the Corner of Bastings Street. Speedwell Cafe and the cycle works are also visible.
