Oldis who was Northcote Mayor from 1924-1925 and 1932-1933, the image shows the gateway to the park with an iron palisade fence with City of Northcote insignia, rendered brick plinths with urns and slab tops with "Oldis Gardens" etched, stone fence with rendered moulding and a plaque with “erected…to the memory of A.H. Oldis” inscribed.
